Edmond, Oklahoma Small Business of the Year Finalist Video

By Tim Priebe on February 21, 2011 at 8:37 am in Video

As you may already know, T&S Web Design was one of three finalists for the Edmond Small Business of the Year award recently. And that was out of a record-setting 75 nominees! Congrats to Edmond Life and Leisure, who actually won the award, and to Krista Jones, DDS, the other nominee.

All three finalists had a short video shown at the Awards Banquet, and we just got our copy late last week. Here, for your viewing pleasure, is a very short video about T&S.

And, although we already posted many pictures on the T&S Web Design Facebook Page, here’s a select few.

Die Mother Printer, Die.

By Emily Spirek on September 24, 2010 at 9:18 am in Fun Friday!,General,Video

After being a faithful printer for several years, our HP all-in-one slowly failed us until a power outage finally took its life. By that time, we all resented it anyway, so we made a little video to show our disdain.

Many should recognize the reference to the Office Space printer scene, but we had Erick Alexander Music create a custom and more appropriate song for our video.

We definitely have no regrets and it was actually quite liberating. In fact, we’re thinking of framing the bat and hanging it in our office. Also, please don’t try this at home (we had highly trained actors).

The Intern Remix

We were so excited to welcome our new interns and get to know them that we just had to share. Be sure to check out our video to see our interns introduce themselves. Remix style.

Losing control is good

By Tim Priebe on December 25, 2009 at 6:30 am in Video

Merry Christmas! During the past year, a lot of business owners come to me concerned about not having control over blog comments, social media comments, etc. What they don’t get is the fact that they don’t have control is what makes it more useful and genuine. In the video below, Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian discusses that viewpoint at a conference in less than five minutes using a real-life example.

Video solution to our new, hard-to-find office

By Emily Spirek on December 22, 2009 at 2:39 pm in General,Video

Our new office location is infamous for stumping even GPS navigation systems. We decided a video might help people find the place and maybe give incentive to bring us gifts. Whether or not our video helps, we had fun doing it. As a disclaimer, it is SLIGHTLY humorous…and nerdy.

Why you need to be blogging now

By Tim Priebe on August 25, 2009 at 1:05 pm in blogging,Video

Thanks to Christina Hills for posting the following on her blog. I thought I would share it with my audience as well.

Here is a very short video clip from Seth Godin and Tom Peters (both best selling authors) on why you need to be blogging now.  And you’ll be very surprised to hear what they say.  It’s not the typical ‘Internet Marketing’ talk. Instead it sums up one of the reason’s why I feel it’s important for you to blog (and to be posting to Twitter)

Day at the T&S Office (time lapse)

By Tim Priebe on February 24, 2009 at 10:44 am in Video

This is February 23, 2009, at the T&S office. We thought it would be fun to record the entire day, but condense it down to a little over a minute, so you can see everything in time-lapsed format.

Linking to your Facebook profile

Although I’ve already written a non-video blog entry on the topic, I thought this topic would be a good one to try out a video blog entry.
