Leave your clothes at T&S!

By Tim Priebe on March 30, 2011 at 9:51 am in non-profit
If your closet looks like this, you should definitely fill your car up with clothes and head over to T&S

If your closet looks like this, you should definitely donate to the drive.

To be clear, this is not about people stripping down in the T&S office. Rather, T&S is now a drop-off point for a clothing drive here in Edmond!

The drive benefits EARC, a non-profit here in Edmond, and is running from now until mid-April. Leadership Edmond Class XVII (the best class ever) is organizing the drive.

All donations must be at the T&S office by close of business Thursday, April 14th. On Friday, April 15th, T&S will help get those clothes over to EARC.

Help out by bringing any clothing you have to the T&S Web Design office. Thanks!

Get a website and T&S will donate 30% to a nonprofit

computer-and-piggy-bankIt’s no secret that we at T&S love non-profits. We’ve been spotted sitting in a tree together on numerous occasions. But now we want to donate 30% of our December income to a non-profit of YOUR choice. (For you finance nerds, that’s 30% of the gross, not net, from new website income.)

So here’s how it works:

  1. You sign for a website in December.
  2. You pay for a website in December. (Either our normal half up front or you can pay in full up front.)
  3. We take 30% from whatever you pay in December, and it goes to a non-profit organization of your choice.

And if you don’t have a specific non-profit in mind, you can choose from some of our awesome clients! We’ve selected five random non-profit clients of ours, and they’ll be receiving any moola that is not specifically allocated.

Diabetes Solutions’ new website

By Tim Priebe on November 23, 2009 at 10:18 pm in Client Plug

Diabetes Solutions thanks T&Sdsok.netAs you probably know, this year we’ve been giving away one website a month to non-profits here in Oklahoma. Diabetes Solutions was the winner in February, and we launched their site awhile back.

Well, we just received their newsletter in the mail the other day, and they were kind enough to include a thank you note to us in their newsletter.

Kim and Casey, you were great to work with, and we appreciate the opportunity to help you guys out. Enjoy the website!

Workshops, new office, free websites, oh my!

By Tim Priebe on February 4, 2009 at 12:13 am in General

When we’re in the website planning stage with a new client and they ask us about a blog, we always tell them to only get one if they can commit to blog at least weekly. Of course, it’s been over a week since we here at T&S have blogged. Shame on us. But we have had some exciting things going on lately.

WebifiableFirst off, we just finished our first Webifiable workshop this past week. We turned the first two thirds of my book into an interactive workshop, and conducted this first experimental version of the workshop. The feedback was great. We even met with our partners in crime, PMS, earlier today to discuss the minor tweaks we are making before our next workshop on March 26. So if you’re interested in the next one, contact us.

Second, we’re moving T&S out of my home office and into its own office. Starting just as soon as we can get internet up and running, we’ll be in downtown Edmond on Broadway across from the post office. We’ll be at 247 N Broadway, suite #104. It’s not much bigger than our current office, but we’ll be able to get a lot more work done without the distractions that come with a home office.

Third, after getting our feet wet by starting our Webifiable workshop, we’re getting ready to offer workshops for MySpace, Facebook and LinkedIn. There will be an hour and a half workshop for each of those three sites, and the sessions will have hands-on setting up of accounts for the sites, as well as guidelines for businesses to make the most use of the sites without spending hours and hours on them every week. We are days away from setting a date for these workshops, but if you are interested, go ahead and contact us.

Finally, we’re giving away a free custom website to a different non-profit group every month in 2009. The lucky January recipient was Edmond Mobile Meals, and we’re continuing to look in the Edmond and Oklahoma City area for additional non-profits to help. If you are involved in or know of a non-profit group that could benefit, fill out our form and let us know.

It’s been an exciting first month of the year, and it’s only getting better from here!
