Challenge

Edmond Adult Softball Association is an adult slow-pitch softball recreational association in Edmond, Oklahoma. Its goal is to create an interest in slow-pitch softball in the Edmond area.

The association is part of the Edmond Parks and Recreation Department and is governed by a board of volunteers. One volunteer created a site for the organization, but the board sought help maintaining it.

Solution

At T&S Web Design, we offer maintenance contracts for sites we design as well as those we didn’t. For a year, we maintained the existing website, updating it with scores and schedules on a regular basis during the softball seasons. We also added various features, including the ability for board members to post alerts when games were rained out and to keep lists of coaches and email those who played on specific nights.

After about a year, there was a break between seasons, and the board of the association decided to have T&S redesign the website. The new site looks better and is easier for us to maintain, resulting in quicker updates to the online scores and schedule.
